Long Description — Caerlon West-to-East Weather Cross-Section

The diagram begins at the Sunset Gulf, rises through the Highharbor Coast and Crownward Uplands, climbs to the Silveredge Arc, descends into the Heart Plains, rises again at Harrowline Ridge, crosses Harrow Gap, and descends through the Scoured Marches and Dread Sea Lowlands to the Dread Sea.

Moist western air rises toward Silveredge, producing rain on western slopes and snow at high elevation. The Heart Plains lie in a partial rain shadow but remain fertile and seasonally wet. Summer thunderstorms form over the central basin. Dread Sea storm fronts strike the eastern coast, while Harrow Gap accelerates air moving through the Esten corridor.

Broken Chain Approaches are labeled beyond the coast rather than on the mainland lowlands. A note beneath the eastern part of the profile shows increasing exposure from the rebuilt western Marches through the middle Marches to the coastward Marches.
