Long Description — Caerlon Settlement and Site Scale

Five levels are shown.

Core continent-scale sites are the eight gold-numbered places used to orient Caerlon and anchor major routes.

Secondary continent-scale sites are the eight magenta-numbered places needed to show bridge chains, paired locations, and other important spatial relationships.

Distributed networks are named systems such as the Silveredge Signal Holds, Crownward Road Stations, Highharbor Watch Stations, and Broken Chain quarantine sites. They occupy several places rather than one map point.

Supporting physical sites are quays, archives, redoubts, vaults, ruins, districts, and other places geographically parented to a settlement or region.

Regional settlements and sites are publicly known places whose exact point belongs on a regional or local map rather than the continent map.
