Long Description — Caerlon Settlement Placement and Major Sites

The map is north-up and shows Caerlon’s coastline, four principal rivers, Silveredge Arc, Harrowline Ridge, eleven lightly shaded regions, and sixteen numbered sites.

Gold sites 01–08 are Highharbor, Crownward Seat, Torinbridge, High Silver Gate, Silveredge Gatehold, Heartplain Assembly Halls, Fort Harrowline, and Estenwatch.

Magenta sites 09–16 are Valen Crown Bridge, Northchain Hold, Stonewake Hold, Lowspan Hold, Reedgate Hold, Verdant Court of Returning Heirs, New Bellweather, and Bellweather Ford Ruins.

Highharbor stands at the western Valen estuary. Crownward Seat stands on raised ground south of the middle Valen. High Silver Gate and Silveredge Gatehold form a close pair in the central mountain arc, with Gatehold west and above the pass.

The Torin chain runs downstream from Northchain Hold to Stonewake Hold, Torinbridge, Lowspan Hold, and Reedgate Hold. Verdant Court stands south of Torinbridge above the middle Greenmantle.

Heartplain Assembly Halls stand east of Silveredge in the central basin. Fort Harrowline stands above Harrow Gap. New Bellweather lies east of the fort and west of Bellweather Ford Ruins. Estenwatch stands at the eastern Esten mouth.
